Services - Long-term Care

A serious accident or illness can bring anxiety to any family. Will recovery take weeks, months—or longer? What if the patient needs round-the-clock attention, skilled nursing care, or medical supervision?

Many families try their best to provide home care for a loved one who has lost the ability to function independently. Yet sometimes, even their best efforts will not be enough. That’s why so many families in our community have turned to Laurelton Village.

Many of our residents stay with us for extended periods, especially those whose lives have been profoundly affected by accidents or illnesses such as emphysema, Alzheimer’s, heart disease and stroke. Not only do we offer the health care and physical therapy these patients require, we also provide a warm and friendly social environment — the ideal conditions for optimal living.

Skilled Care
Laurelton Village offers a full array of skilled care services, including IV therapy/antibiotics/hydration, wound care, nutrition, infection control program, cardiac monitoring, podiatry, oxygen and more.

Alzheimer’s/Dementia Unit
Laurelton Village has a 48-bed secure unit that offers excellent, compassionate care for residents with Alzheimer’s or dementia. The program at the unit is recreation-based and offers a wide range of daily activities. The staff on the unit is specially-trained to meet the needs of these residents.
