Services - Hospice Care
When someone we love is approaching the end of life,our most fervent wish is that they be allowed to die with peace and dignity.
An integral part of our center’s mission is the compassionate care of persons who are terminally ill.
Laurelton Village provides palliative and end-of-life hospice care for residents and families who request it, through several, well-reharded hospice programs. In addition, we offer a special, beautifully-furnished room set aside for the use of our hospice clients.
The goal of the hospice team is to make this time as comfortable and peaceful as possible. The team typically includes nurses, a social worker, home health aides, clergy, and volunteers, and services include both spiritual and grief counseling.
Grief support groups
In addition to hospice services, the social services department at Laurelton Village offers support groups for long term care residents who have lost friends here at Laurelton.
